while I was living in Berkeley, Ca. 1976 and started writing songs in 1982 after my motorcycle accident in Hawaii.
I played my first show as a solo performer in 1976 in the basement of the Laney College Library, Oakland, Ca. I was paid in pies. The next gigs were played at alot of coffeehouses in the east bay
In 1978, I moved to San Francisco where I did shows at the Mabuhay Gardens, the On Broadway club, the Sound of Music on Turk St., va parties and coffeehouses around the city.
In 1986, I moved to Sonoma County, 50 miles north of SF. I've played shows at Sonoma St. Univ, the Phoenix theater in Petaluma, the Old Vic in Santa Rosa,the Thursday Night Market, A'roma Roasters Coffeehouse, the Forestville Club and various open mikes around town
